Short-Term Groups

Access Groups
If you want to learn what scripture says about marriage, finances, or spiritual growth, try an Access Group. They're like Community Groups, but meet weekly for a short term to explore one topic.

We offer Access Groups for adults at all stages of life.
  • Married Access Groups are made up of married couples at different stages of life from newly married to empty nesters.
  • Men's Access Groups are made up of men at different stages of life, including married, single, divorced, and widowed.
  • Women's Access Groups are made up of women at different stages of life, including married, single, divorced, and widowed.
Registration for spring Access Groups begins February 26. Groups launch the week of March 18 and will discuss these topics:

Spiritual Growth
What does it mean to be in a growing relationship with Jesus Christ? Is spiritual growth measurable? Gain practical tools to help you read the Bible with more depth and understanding. Discover spiritual practices to help you pursue deeper intimacy with God.

Cost: $15

Finances
Managing money can cause confusion and stress. Learn how to develop a budget and deal with debt based on practical financial principles found in the Bible.

Duration: 8 Weeks

For Men
Being male is easy. Being a man is daunting. Sometimes it seems as though everyone wants something from you—your wife, your kids, your boss, your church, and maybe even God. Join John Woodall, Director of Care, for breakfast and a low-pressure, high-payback experience in which you will explore what it means to carry out the mission of manhood.

Duration: 7 Weeks
Cost: $21 for a live, men’s-only environment with John Woodall
Day & Time: Friday mornings at 7:00 a.m. (meetings will be 59 minutes long)

Priority is given to those not currently involved in a Community Group. However, if there is room, current Community Group participants will be invited to join Access Groups at the end of the registration period. If you are already in a Community Group and want to participate in one of these studies, speak with your Community Group leader about incorporating the study into your current curriculum path.

Access Groups are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
