Out of Harm's Way
All entrances to Waumba Land are monitored before, during, and after each service. You and your child will each receive a corresponding numbered security tag. You must present your portion of the tag when you pick up your child---no exceptions. All of our volunteers are carefully trained and screened to ensure the safest environment possible.
Drop-Off & Pick-Up
Children are accepted into the classroom 30 minutes prior to the service and must be signed in by their parent or guardian. Children should be picked up immediately following the service unless paged beforehand.
Good Health
Children who show signs or symptoms of a fever or any other contagious diseases are not accepted.
Enrollment
It is imperative that a guest registration form be filled out for each child visiting Waumba Land. The registration portion of the form should be completed if you choose to enroll your child. At this point, your child will be added to our database and assigned to a permanent classroom. Our Host Team will greet you and help you with the enrollment process.
Special Needs
We provide a number of different options for our special needs children. Please speak with a Waumba Land staff member to determine the environment best-suited to your child.
Tips & Reminders
Please label all of your children's belongings. We discourage parents from allowing their children to bring their own toys into class with them, as it is easy for them to be misplaced or forgotten.
Special Parking for Preschool Parents
Preschool parking spaces are available around the perimeter of the main parking area. Turn on your blinkers as you enter the parking lot to let our Host Parking team know that you have preschoolers with you. Please remember that these spots are at a premium and fill up quickly.
