Membership Application
Considering membership? You've come to the right place. We've designed this site to answer your membership questions and actually guide you through the steps to becoming a member. Over the next twenty to thirty minutes, we are going to give you an overview of our mission and ministry strategy. At the end, you will have the opportunity to apply for membership.
As you are about to discover, membership at North Point involves more than simply getting your name on a list. So, set aside your pre-conceived notions about church membership and see why NPCC membership is synonymous with involvement.
Specifically, as a member of North Point you will be called upon to help create, lead, and resource our various ministry environments. Strategic Service and Authentic Community are two of our Core Values. Therefore, we ask that all members be involved in a small group environment and/or serving on a strategic service team.
If you have been attending Sunday services at North Point and are ready to take the next step toward involvement, NEXT is the place for you! Please click here to learn more about NEXT and to reserve your spot!
If you are ready to find out more about our areas of strategic service and community groups, please click on the links below.

If you are already involved in a community group or a strategic service team and would like to proceed with membership, please do so by clicking "Continue to Next Step".
As a regular attendee, you've had a front row seat to observe the life-changing mission of NPCC. But we realize that while seeing is believing, just seeing may not have covered it all.
We'll give you access to all of the important information you'll need as a member, including our Core Values and Statement of Faith. Finally, you'll have the opportunity to apply for membership online from the comfort of your home or office. In the process we'll ask about your personal relationship with Jesus Christ as well as your baptism and involvement. We'll also collect some biographical information to make you aware of ministry opportunities designed for your season of life. If at any time you need to take a break, feel free to bookmark your place and return to it later.

Our mission is to lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. We do this by creating irresistible environments where people are encouraged and equipped to pursue intimacy with God, community with insiders and influence with outsiders.

Our ministry environments are designed to function like the rooms in a home. We invite guests to the foyer, develop friendships in the living room and grow as a family around the kitchen table.
The following page will explain the role of each room, as well as give you examples of existing environments.
Chances are you are already familiar with many of our ministry environments. No doubt they are a big part of what hooked you to begin with. As a member we will ask you to move beyond simply participating in these incredible environments. We are going to ask you to
Creating relevant, life changing environments is neither easy nor inexpensive. But with your help we can continue to impact our community through this unique approach to ministry.
We know that by now some of you are ready to sign up, but others still have a few questions. On this page, we have provided links to our Statement of Faith, Core Values, and Constitution. Hopefully, these documents will answer any questions. If not, you may email us at membership@northpoint.org.
If all systems are go, you may proceed with the application process.

foyer (foi' er, foi ya') n. an entry. - It's the place in your home that serves as the welcome area for guests and new friends. It's the first step, and it's often your only chance to make your guests feel comfortable enough to return. That's exactly how we've designed our entry environments at North Point Community Church. Our Sunday morning worship services are "foyer" environments. We want our guests to come back, so we do everything with them in mind. These environments are where most people will experience NPCC for the first time, and they serve as the perfect place to introduce newcomers to life at North Point Community Church. So, come on in ...
The application will ask for information about the following three pre-requisites that will be important in your role as a member.
- Since our mission is to lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ, it is essential that our members have a relationship with Jesus
Christ. We will briefly ask you to tell us about your relationship. If you'd like a simple explanation of what it means to have a relationship with
Jesus Christ, you may click
here.
- We believe that the Bible is clear about God's desire for each of us to make a public profession of faith through baptism. If you haven't been baptized since accepting
Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, just mark no when asked on the membership application and we will contact you. You may click
here to access more information on baptism.
- We equate membership with involvement. Involvement in a small group and/or strategic service team is required for membership. For more information about how to get involved, click here.
When all three qualifications are complete, your application will be processed for membership.
We want to make this experience as easy as possible for you. So, if any section is unclear or if you have questions, please click here to contact someone in membership.
If you do not need assistance please proceed to the application. We look forward to serving with you at North Point.
kitchen (kich'en) n. a room or place for the preparation and cooking of food. - Webster's definition doesn't help us much, does it? But think about it. What is the most popular room in your home? Where do you end up when friends or family come over? The kitchen. This is where lasting friendships are made. And that's the kind of environment we are striving for in our small groups. Small groups are where people meet regularly for Bible study and prayer, and commit to accountability, friendship and support. They are the safe place to open your heart, share your life, and ask the tough questions. Small group opportunities for adults include community groups, Starting Point, and Intimate Encounters. For students, small group time happens during InsideOut, Transit, and UpStreet Kids. Small groups are where life change happens here at North Point Community Church, and we want to help you get there.
living room (liv'ing room) n. a room in a home, with sofas, chairs, used for social activities, entertaining guests, etc. When guests arrive and are welcomed into your home, you invite them into the living room. Everyone finds a comfortable place to sit, and the interaction begins. At North Point Community Church, this is where you connect with people like yourself. Smaller and more interactive than the foyer environment, these gatherings offer genuine opportunity to begin friendships...just like the living room in your home. For single adults, this environment is called FUSiON. For married adults, there is MarriedLife Live. The living room events for students are Transit and InsideOut. For college students this environment is simply called "The Living Room". Come into the living room and have a seat...
