Thank you for your interest in serving with MoneyWise.

MoneyWise is a mentoring ministry that pairs a trained volunteer mentor or mentor couple with an individual or a couple for 12 mentoring sessions over a year period. A structured curriculum provides guidance in key areas including budgeting, saving and giving. Dave Ramsey's "The Total Money Makeover" is also used to help participants take steps to financial freedom.

Because the role of the MoneyWise mentor is full of opportunities for influence, we are intentional about selecting individuals who are spiritually mature, and emotionally and relationally healthy.

The requirements for becoming a MoneyWise mentor are:

You are pursuing a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
You are a member of a North Point Ministries church.

If you meet the above requirements, then the next steps are:

Application: If you're interested in becoming a MoneyWise mentor, begin the application process. You will be asked to include references.

Interview: After your application is complete, you will be contacted for an interview with the MoneyWise staff.

Training: We offer a 2-hour training that provides you with the skills and knowledge needed to mentor individuals with competence and care. Additionally, ongoing training is provided three to four times a year to ensure that you are receiving current and relevant information to make you effective in helping others.
